Michael Faith

Michael Faith, MSW, is the author of “Heart Fire: Practices To Awaken, Expand, and Engage Your Heart”. Michael has been facilitating workshops and trainings across the country for more than fifteen years. He has worked with diverse organizations including nonprofits, faith communities and businesses on issues such as effective communication, strategic planning, nonviolent dialogue, meeting design and group facilitation, meditation, yoga, and conflict resolution.

Michael began his mindful communication training at the American Friends Service Committee (Quakers) with the C-LARA method, a peaceful communication technique that empowers individuals to speak their truth. Adding to that foundation in his work, Michael also incorporates wisdom from Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, Vital Smarts Crucial Conversations, Sharron Ellison’s Powerful Nondefensive Communication, and the writings and teachings of Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Marianne Williamson. Michael also recently finished up his studies with the Conflict Resolution Network.

Michael currently spends his time consulting nonprofit organizations in becoming more strategic with their work and developing systems to achieve their goals in fun, meaningful, and sustainable ways.
