Michael began his mindful communication training at the American Friends Service Committee (Quakers) with the C-LARA method, a peaceful communication technique that empowers individuals to speak their truth. Adding to that foundation in his work, Michael also incorporates wisdom from Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication, Vital Smarts Crucial Conversations, Sharron Ellison's Powerful Nondefensive Communication, and the writings and teachings of Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Marianne Williamson. Michael also recently finished up his studies with the Conflict Resolution Network.
Michael currently spends his time consulting nonprofit organizations in becoming more strategic with their work and developing systems to achieve their goals in fun, meaningful, and sustainable ways.
